Role colours: as in the app today

Pupil teal, parent amber, staff indigo, leadership purple, PTA violet (the app’s role tokens). Staff, leadership and PTA are three similar purples, and pupil (2.7:1) and parent (2.1:1) are too pale on white for a graphic (needs 3:1). Contrast on white: Pupil 2.7 · Parent 2.1 · Staff 4.4 · Leadership 5.9 · PTA 4.3.

RC-09

Rounded letters to match

If the people go round, the wordmark follows: the same letters with rounded corners and a round i-dot (top), next to the designer’s current cut (bottom).

VA-08

The community

Five people, every V the same: pupils, parents and staff together.

SP2-04

Walking

Stride and arm swing; the slant becomes forward movement.

SP2-08

Parent and child

Holding hands. The joined hands make the pair one continuous shape.

SP2-09

The family

Adult, child, adult, hands joined. Isotype rule: the same figure repeated, only height varies.

SP2-30

Children make the V, arms true length

The same rule with the two children in the middle.

ED-02

Edges: rounded

The same family with fully rounded ends and clasps. Friendlier, but it no longer matches the wordmark and starts to look like generic clip art.

Maybe 19

Worth exploring further: the rounded finish on every group, colour variations, merch reverses and the app icon.

Role colours: as on the PTA workshop site

The workshop site’s set. Pupil and parent are two teals that are hard to tell apart, and pupil is 2.7:1 on white. Pupil 2.7 · Parent 3.5 · Staff 4.5 · Leadership 6.4 · PTA 5.6.

RC-12

Two pupils make the V, parent and staff either side

Pupils (green) in the middle form the V with true-length arms; a parent (amber) and a member of staff (indigo) hold their outside hands.

RC-15

Blue family, role colour on the heads

Bodies stay vibez blue, only the heads show the role: the family still reads as one brand colour from a distance.

RC-16

Role colours with the app’s current set

The cheering family in today’s app colours for comparison: parent amber, pupil teal, staff indigo.

RD-10

Round head (left) and seamless (right) at 96, 48, 32 and 16px.

VA-09

Reverse, for merch

White on print blue: chest print, sticker or banner.

VA-10

As an app icon

The opened V at 96, 48, 32 and 16px. The head inside the arms keeps the figure compact, so it holds up small.

VA-11

With the wordmark

The cheering figure stands beside vibez; its V echoes the v that starts the name.

SP2-12

Reverse, for merch

White on print blue.

SP2-13

With the wordmark

A figure beside vibez at the height of the letters.

SP2-29

Adults make the V, arms true length

The arms forming the v are exactly as long as every other arm; the two adults stand closer so their hands meet naturally.
